Our mission at Paryavaran Aayog is to protect nature, restore ecosystems, and build a green tomorrow.
The Environment Forest and Climate Change Commission (Paryavaran Aayog) exists to safeguard natural resources, fight climate change, and protect the fundamental ecological rights of every citizen. Under the leadership of National President Shri Shailesh Garg, we work to make environmental protection a standard way of life.
Our mission is deeply rooted in the constitutional provisions of India—specifically Article 48A, which mandates the State to protect and improve the environment, and Article 51A(g), which sets the fundamental duty of every citizen to protect forests, lakes, rivers, and wildlife. We believe that true ecological balance cannot be achieved by policy alone; it requires an active, informed, and organized citizenry acting as direct protectors of their local environment.
Through our national network of state units, green clubs, and dedicated volunteers (पर्यावरण प्रहरी), we scale grassroots tree plantations, ground and surface water preservation systems, and independent ecological monitoring. Every tree we plant, every water body we revive, and every environmental violation we stop is a step closer to a sustainable, carbon-resilient India.
To combat climate change and restore lost habitats by planting, nurturing, and protecting millions of native trees across deforested areas, urban zones, and industrial belts, ensuring maximum survival rates.
To establish a active, nationwide network of citizens to monitor, identify, and report environmental threats like illegal logging, forest encroachment, toxic industrial waste dumping, and landfill fires.
To drive intensive rainwater harvesting, desilt and rejuvenate local lakes, ponds, and aquifers, securing safe and sustainable surface and groundwater resources for local communities.
To deliver structured environmental awareness, composting, zero-plastic living workshops, and carbon-footprint reduction audits in educational institutions, societies, and corporate sectors.
To make environmental conservation a mass public movement (जन आंदोलन) by engaging schools, college youths, Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs), and public leaders in direct green actions.
To advocate for and strictly support the enforcement of ecological protections as guided by the directive principles of Article 48A and the fundamental duties of citizens under Article 51A(g).
