Leading the way in professional training and skill development since 2011

We are a citizen-led environmental and public-interest organisation working at the intersection of ecology, law, awareness and action. Our volunteers — students, lawyers, doctors, RTI activists, retired civil servants, journalists and ordinary citizens — together form one of India’s most distributed grassroots networks for the environment. Where trees are felled, we plant. Where pollution rises, we measure. Where laws are bent, we file. Where awareness is thin, we teach.
Operating as an independent public interest watchdog, the Environment Forest and Climate Change Commission (Paryavaran Aayog) functions through decentralized district committees and active state chapters. We translate environmental anxiety into direct, constructive action by equipping citizens with the legal resources, scientific kits, and collaborative channels needed to resolve ecological violations locally.
Our operations are deeply rooted in the constitutional principles of India. We are guided by Article 48A of the Constitution, which directs the State to protect and improve the environment, and Article 51A(g), which imposes a fundamental duty on every citizen of India to protect and improve the natural environment, including forests, lakes, rivers, and wildlife, and to have compassion for living creatures.
Through our nationwide network of Paryavaran Mitras and specialized wings, we remain committed to creating a transparent, science-first, and apolitical platform that empowers every resident of India to become an active custodian of nature.

“When we started building Paryavaran Aayog, the goal was clear: create a strong, honest, and people-powered platform where every citizen can stand up for trees, water, and clean surroundings. We are an independent, citizen-led national commission, and our strength comes from volunteers, supporters, and local communities working together.”
“Over the years, our teams have supported plantation drives, neighbourhood green audits, and timely reporting of illegal tree felling and pollution. We believe lasting change happens when families, schools, RWAs, and youth groups take ownership of the environment around them.”
“As National Chairman, my focus is to expand our volunteer network, strengthen state-level coordination, and keep every programme transparent — from sapling care to complaint follow-up. We welcome CSR partners, institutions, and individuals who want to invest time or resources in measurable green outcomes.”
“I invite you to join as a Paryavaran Mitra, raise issues through our helpline, or partner on plantation and awareness campaigns. Together we can protect what we still have and restore what we have lost — one ward, one city, and one state at a time.”
— Honorable Shailesh Garg
National Chairman, Environment Forest and Climate Change Commission (Paryavaran Aayog)
“A Bharat where every citizen breathes clean air, drinks safe water, and walks under a canopy that they themselves helped grow.”
Our vision is built on the foundation of Community Ownership. We foresee an India where environmental protection is not just a regulatory obligation, but a daily, citizen-led practice embedded deeply in our civic culture.
We strive to establish an ecological balance where development and nature coexist in harmony. Through widespread public afforestation, localized air and water quality monitoring, and law-backed citizen reporting, we aim to transform every neighborhood into a self-sustaining green sanctuary.
Ultimately, we envision a future where the next generation grows up with high environmental consciousness, equipped with the legal knowledge (like RTI) and scientific tools to serve as active, lifetime custodians of our national natural wealth.
The fundamental principles that guide our environmental advocacy and community actions.
every rupee, every plantation, every complaint is publicly documented.
we act within the Constitution and use it to its fullest.
we partner with every government and remain accountable only to citizens.
gender, caste, religion and region are never a filter.
sentiment is fuel; data is the steering wheel.

Reaching over 500,000+ successfully nurtured plantations and coordinating environmental compliance audits nationwide under President Shri Shailesh Garg.
Comprehensive environmental conservation and climate initiatives designed to drive public participation.
Intensive tree planting campaigns utilizing local native species to maximize ecological health and survival rates.
Empowering local modules for desilting ponds, harvesting rainwater, and maintaining clean local aquifers.
Providing environmental literacy, sustainable living seminars, and waste management courses in schools and societies.
Training members on how to log ecological threats, report violations safely, and navigate forestry rules.
